I am running 10.3.9 and both Explorer and Safari crash all the time.
they did it a bit with 10.3.8 but worse now.
How do I install backwards to 10.3.7 which was quite stable? Must I
initialize the HD?

Have you installed the patch to fix java problems with 10.3.9?

If you've had problems since 10.3.8 update, you should consider cloning essential files/folders
using Carbon Copy Cloner, erasing the boot hdd and installing Panther and running the 10.3.9
combo update.

Or you could bite the bullet and do the above, but do an erase and install of Tiger tomorrow night :D

Hi,

Don't think your problem is related to the updates.  Have you run repair
disk permission, fsck recently?  Try that, it might help.

Not very professional, but I succeeded by downloading the latest version
of safari and installing that.
