400 Mhz G4 desktop
Panther 10.3
From a few days ago, my Help doesn't work.
Both menu scroll down and Help key on keyboard. The window opens up
for a few secs, no text of images, then closes.
Any ideas? Thanks.

Can you think if you installed something at the time that may have
caused the behaviour? Otherwise, Help Viewer seems to like having an
internet connection so it can update help pages, so if you aren't
connected maybe try that. Also try repairing Disk permissions... Only
stabs in the dark, sorry!

You are probably seeing your problems because of corrupted cache and/or
plist-files.
Try deleting:
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.helpui
and
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.help.plist
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.helpui.plist
That will usually fix it.
