Hi,

I have just d/l some .wmv files and all of them I cant open and  all of them
has a message

" cannot open the file. Verify that the path and filename are correct and
try again"

I windows player for the Mac, and tried another player called "VLC"

NOTHING

I have placed the files on the desktops.

Any ideas?

They cant all be crap files

Thanks

Have you tried opening them with Windows Media Player?  I find that works with
most .wmv files

Although the English is unclear, I think he meant that he DID try WMP.

It seems to me as if the media players are looking for a particular
directory for the files, which seems odd. Maybe harry62 could clarify
what he meant in the above. VLC should also open them if they are valid
files. I suspect they are corrupted.
