I've got a 12" iBook,  G3 about 3 years old, running 10.3.8.

I've recently noticed a thin green line down the right hand side of my
screen, is this an indication of potential problems? or is it normal in
a machine of this age?

Thanks
Michael

Sounds like the LCD is on the way out, did you buy Applecare extended
warranty for it?  I reckon it should be mandatory for portables.  Hard
drives generally go around 3 years too - keep regular backups.
