Dear Group,

My emac is about 3 months old.  I keep it on all the time.  After waking
it from one its sleeps the display returned but out of focus.  I have
tried turning it on and off/shutdown/re-start but to no effect.  I can
just make out the letters to write this.  I have had a look at the
display options in system preferences but didn't see a "focus" option.

Apart from the out of focus issue the eMac appears to be working fine.

Any help before I unplug it and take it to the menders would be
appreciated.

Squintingly yours :),

Paul

I would take it to the menders :-/

eMacs always seem to have had screen problems, dunno why.  My particular
issue was with a cracking noise with a single line of pixels going weird
on screen.  I traced that to the internal modem, and have had no further
probs since using airport extreme and the ABS.

If you go read in Apple Discussions you might find more info about your
particular problem

You might try recalibrating it from the display prefs.
