Just wondering if it's possible to run the X11 x-server with quartz
window manager on anything older than Mac OS 10.3?

I'm running 10.2.8 on my iBook and am sick of looking at my XDarwin
x-windows interface when I use OpenOffice... =)

Cheers,
Chris

They had a release for 10.2 which was a downloadable thing,
not sure where you could get that now.

You could try OroborOSX with XDarwin.  That'll get you a window
manager not entirely unlike quartzwm.  Don't think it's been updated
for a while, though.

Gone. :) It was a beta for the Apple X11 that was released as part of
10.3.0. As soon as 10.3 was released, it was removed.
