Hi,

I've got an older Sony 17" monitor that cycles on and off whenever it's
plugged in and switched on - sortof blinks on then turns off, then
immediately blinks on again.

Anyone got any idea what It might be suffering from? My 1994 era Sony
is still going strong despite being about 5-6 years older, but I think
that was before Sony started making cut-price models.

Thanks

Rax.

Had same symptom with mine. Had it dismantled but fault was in power
transformer. Result...send to trash. Not worth the cost of repair.
