Hi,
I have an OGG file on my Mac and I cant seem to play it.
I have read that if I drag it to ITUNES it should play , but doesn't
What program plays this sort of file?
It is a great song (one that I finally got and not in MP3 format, damn)
Can someone please explain this sound file that is not common (is it?)
I have not seen many at all
Are they better than MP3?
Thanks for any help on this matter
:)

Audion has solved all sorts of file problems for me. I haven't used it for
ogg but it is supported:

.dmg at top of page, you need the ability to write in
/Library/Quicktime
to drag-install the single file...
Then iTunes & QuickTime will know about .ogg files.
There may be better <shrug> this works for me (latest System &
iTunes)
Have Fun

ogg vorbis are generally reckoned by audio buffs to be 'superior' (as a
compression format) to mp3s - and slightly smaller in filesize - though
not as superior as 'lossless' flac, or monkey's audio 'ape'. I warn
you, we're awash with compression critters out here - safer to stay
home and listen to the radio ...
