Losing bookmarks

Can anyone shed light on this frustrating problem please?

iMac, OSX 10.3.5, Netscape 7.1

Two or three times in the past few weeks I've lost all my bookmarks in
Netscape.  Other apps running at the time are, variously iTunes, iPhoto,
Mail etc.  I go to look for a bookmark rather than keying in a url and
there they are...gone!

I generally use Netcsape as it has a newsgroup reader that I like but if
this keeps happening I might start using Safari or IE for surfing.

Its been a long time, but see if you can find a preference called
Mozilla. Rename it Old Mozilla, and launch Netscape. If you see a pref
Mozilla again, put Old MOzilla in the trash and see if your bookmarks
are OK.

Sorry, but I'm a bit of a mac-illiterate, can you give me some more
detail please, where do I find this?

Go to find in the menu bar (it looks like a magnifying glass) and enter
Mozilla, (it must be a pref, not a folder),  or try to see it in
home ...library..preferences.

Or better still, download the update Netscape 7.2 from
www.netscape.com.au
