Looking for iBook

Hi all,

I'm on the lookout for an older iBook. The older "toilet seat" kind. My daughter has
decided that they're way cool and would be very nice to have at boarding school. I'm
inclined to agree, since I have to look at getting something for her anyway. But I'm
concerned that some earlier models were dodgy.

So, my questions are:

1.    Which one would be worth buying

2.    How much would I reasonably expect to fork out?

I'm not looking at Tibooks or later models. It's only for schoolwork assignments.

Oh yes, I'm in Brisbane.

Just sold an indigo 366 model at work today for $500 2ndhand with 3 month
warranty.  Anything under $600 would be fair I reckon depending on the
model.  You'd be better off buying the white ones though rather than the
toilet seat ones (if you can afford it) as they are faster.  I believe the
clam shell/toilet seat ones are slightly more robust though.
