Exporting from OSX Mail

I've tried for months to like Mail, but I don't. i don't like the drawer, I
don't like the overall look or feel.

So, reluctantly I'm returning to Entourage. Particularly now that I've
discovered that I can sync Entourage address book with OSX Address book.

My question is, how can I export the last few months emails from Mail to
Entourage?

I've read the help file and followed the directions but Entourage won't
import the mbox file Mail save creates.

Any suggestions appreciated.

TIA
Michael

Use an IMAP mail account.

Even if you don't switch to one permanently (ie. if you don't
want to pay up for good sized storage, though the one I use
offers 150MB for for $40/yr), you can get a free/very-cheap
at any of a variety of places.

Mount up the IMAP account in Mail.app, move your messages in,
exit, mount up the IMAP account in Entourage and you're either
done or, if you're not going to stick with IMAP, move them
over to wherever you want to keep them.

Actually, it appears that you're using a .mac (@mac.com)
e-mail address.  You _already_ have, therefore, an IMAP
mail account.  Just use that.

Plain Bread alone for e-mail, thanks.  The rest gets trashed.

What drawer?  You mean the mailboxes? Then just leave it open and it
will always be there.  Sheesh, give the user a little choice and they
can't handle it.
