Hi Bill

thanks for your info. I have the three Macs talking to eachother: I can
mount the non-OSX Macs via the network icon on my G4, though OSX won't
let THEM contact it (no matter). I haven't managed to get the oldies to
use the DSL-Modem, even though I downloaded the Internode s/w
(Enternet). However, there's no real need for it, and they can still
got online via dial-up, so I have emergency cover. It's really a
curiosity, plus that ever-present thing about not being beaten by dumb
machines!
