MS Word (version 10.1) running on my iMacG5 (1.6 GHz, 768 MB RAM,
OSX10.3.8) keeps crashing. It simply vanishes. No emergency backup of
the document I'm working on is available when I restart. The usual offer
of sending a crash report is not made.

I have read the MS self-help information, trashed my settings files as
suggested both there, and in this newsgroup This seemed to work for a
day or so but now the problem is back.

Dopes anyone have any further suggestions please?

Kind regards,
Devi

Look for a corrupt font. IF that¹s not it, then reinstall it.
