I ran Retrospect 6 on my iMac G5. The destination was Maxtox HD. At
completion I see a title for Backup set but no folder that I can open.
A previous backup allowed me to open and use items. What am I not doing?

Did you Duplicate or Backup the device. If you made a Backup, therre
will be a catalog and a single file which contains the backup date for
the volume. You can selectively copy out or restore files a/o folders
from the Backup set using Retrospect.

Or if he did an immediate backup to a backup set of which the HD
was a new member, the backup file would be there but the catalog
would likely be somewhere else. Since the OP only indicated the
presence of a single file, this may be the case.
Where is the "title for Backup set" located on the HD? If it is
on a red colored file, how big is the file? It is likley the
backup in Retrospect's typical Immediate backup format.
