I was wondering if anyone knows whether it is possible to run the new
iWork software on a iMac G3 400mHz 384mB RAM computer.  I would really
like to get the software, but am afraid it wouldn't work.  Any imput
would be much appreciated.

I've installed iWork on my 500 MHz G3 iBook with 640 MB of RAM and the
verdict for Pages is: Usable, but not for documents with many pages.

I opened a 130 pages Word document mostly with pure text. I.e. no tables
and graphics. This document was to large for Pages/my iBook.

When trying to edit a new document, I would say that Pages is OK on the
iBook.

I haven't yet experimented on where the borderline between usable and
unusable lies with regard to number of pages, tables and graphics.
