How to Find Product Key

I have three product keys for our Student/Teacher Edition of Microsoft
Office 2004 for the Mac.  I have used two of them but can¹t remember which
ones I used.  I need to install the software on a third machine and would
rather not install it with a product key that is already in use on the other
machines here.

Is there any way to look up which keys you used when you installed the
product?  Or, failing that, if I do install it and then start getting
messages about duplicate product keys, how do I uninstall it and clear the
key so I can reinstall it with another key until I figure this out by trial
and error?

Thanks

Is the "Product ID" shown in the "about Word" box (selected from Words
application menu) the same as the product key?

No, unfortunately.  When you enter that Product Key it translates it into
the 20-digit product id number, but I don't know of anyway to use that to
figure out which product key you used originally.

Try the information on this website
<http://www.mcgimpsey.com/macoffice/office/pid.html>, it may
have some relevancy to your question about Microsoft's product key or CD key
recovery.
