Hi !
Anyone knows what I should use to convert "asf" video files into "MOV"
? So far, all I found was some windows application ... and I DON'T have
a PC, so ...
If you don't have the answer but know some "link" that maybe could help
me [I already know about Google!] :) don't esitate ! ;)
Thanx !! :)

It won't work with all ASFs, but it has worked with 90% of the ones
I've tried to convert to MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 ... ffmpegX (using the
"Decode with mplayer" option rather than QuickTime or the built-in).
You can tell ahead of time whether things will work -- if you click the
"Play" button in ffmpegX, it will launch mplayer and attempt to play
the file. A successful play will translate into a successful
conversion.
This isn't an "MOV", but it is playable with QuickTime and can be
burned to VCD, SVCD, or DVD, depending upon the output format you
choose (you could even go to DV Stream, if the quality of the original
ASF warrants, and then play with it in iMovie).
