Can MAIL be programmed as follows:  After sending email to specific
parties I would like the "sent mail"  to go into a file folder where I
keep all correspondence with this specific party.  I want to set up
separate folders for a dozen parties.

Did you try this to confirm that it wuld work?  I don'y think that Mail
can filter mail other than Inbox mail.

Mail can also filter things manually.  I'm not sure if it can filter
mail as you send it, but you could write your rules and then every so
often go to your Sent folder, select all, and select Message->Apply
Rules.

You can BCC yourself, and then the rule will be applied when you receive
your copy.

You only need one thing to make it in Hollywood; sincerity.  Once you can fake
that you've got it made.

Even better, in prefs you can set it up to always bcc yourself, so you
don't need to add it to messages.  In prefs under "Composing".
