I have a large letterboxed QT file which I'd like to crop to reduce the file
size.  I want to remove the black bars, and thus change its dimensions.  (Keep
the width, but reduce the height.)  Is there a way to do this?

I can't help with cropping it but realize that large black bars always
in the same place will tend to get compressed highly and thus cropping
them out should result in only a slight reduction in file size.
