Under OS 9.x I used an app called Desktop Resetter that would reset the
desktop to a preset arrangement of the icons if it was accidentally
changed.  Version tracker and download.com had nothing for OS X.  Does
anyone know of a similar app for 10.2.8?

Everything should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler.

I've been looking for the same thing - even tried to adapt the script I
wrote in OS 9 - doesn't work. I would be grateful for suggestions as
well.

Thanks!
