I just bought a copy of Final Cut Pro 3 and installed it on my
computer last night. When I went to upgrade my QuickTime Player to
Pro with the serial number included with Final Cut, I kept getting a
message saying that the name and or number was in valid.
Why is this happening? Could it be because the QuickTime player I
have is newer than the upgarde on this old Final Cut software?
Could it be because I am not yet on line?
Any ideas?
Thanks,

You probably used your name didn't you? For the serial number included
with FCP 3, you need to enter the name that comes with the serial. It's
probably "QuickTime Pro"
