What is it that you can't stand, exactly? I don't think there is any other browser for the iPhone. I have to say, having experienced the sorry excuses for web browsers on other mobile phones, the browser on the iPhone is way better, IMO. If you think Safari on the iPhone is bad, you should see the web browsers on Palm, Nokia, and Samsung phones!  SignatureSend responses to the relevant news group rather than email to me.
