ITunes voucher

I can buy an iTunes voucher. Then I am told I can use the voucher to
buy songs. And avoid my credit card. As per gift giving.
Can anyone tel me how I set Itunes so as to use the voucher ?

If you open up iTunes' help, click on the link for help with the store
and then look in the section titled "Giving gifts and creating a wish
list" you should see "Redeeming an iTunes allowance, gift certificate,
or giftcard." That should tell you all you need to know.
