Backup Failure

Backup failed to back my documents into my .mac account:

Transaction failed for unknown reason (100)
Unable to complete backup at this time.

This has happened 3 times today.   My computer has been turned off the
last 3 days as I was out of town, and the previous backup worked.

What should I do next?

Wait until Apple *really* gets MobileMe up and running.  Until then,
most things .Mac aren't working.

Apple's already said that we won't have Safari bookmarks synchronized.
I wonder what else they will take away from .mac customers who don't
fit the MobileMe demographics.

I haven't heard of anything yet that interests DesktopMe.

After the Apple servers breakdown yesterday, I started up my computer
this morning and saw a different icon for my iDisk, it now has a purple
disk with a white cloud on it.
I haven't installed the Mobile.Me update yet. And I wonder whether I
really need it. I don't have an iPhone, have an old iPod, and need not
sync to anything.
So I guess the iDisk increase of 10 GB will be there anyway for me.
Why update when I don't need it?
It seems there is a whole battery of problem solving pages at the Apple
site.

So if anyone has ideas, has problems, knows there is an advantage in
installing the MM update, let me know.
Thanks.

I don't think Apple said anything like that.  They only said that web
access to your bookmarks would not be part of MobileMe.  You can
continue to sync bookmarks between your Mac and MobileMe as a way of
keeping them backed up or sharing them among multiple Macs.

"Backup"?  Are you referring to the Apple .Mac backup program, or
something else?
