marking with warning notice before deleting

Is there a way to mark email in the"inbox so it cannot be deleted with
a warning notice.  I frequently delete two emails at a time when only
meaning to do one.

Not that I know of, but you can flag important emails or move them to a
"keepers" folder to help avoid deleting them.
