parallel's performance on disks?

has someone done a performance comparison of the various types of
disks that parallels understand?  I am particularly interested in
native ntfs (or fat32) partitions vs. virtual ntfs (or fat32)
partitions.  sincerely,  /iaw

What would be the point? Faster disks (RPM) will yield faster
performance in any situation, not just Parallels.
