Not too long ago I came across and tried the application "Docker" which
provides one with an almost elegant interface which provide one with a great
many options for customizing the dock such as overall kind, appearance,
position, and so on, and without requiring one to dawdle with terminal
commands. Docker is donation ware and I strongly recommend it to anyone who
would like to tailor the appearance of their dock.

I, too, have been using Docker for some time and highly endorse it.

BTW, I've removed c.s.m.misc from the list of groups, as that's intended
for items that don't really fit in any of the other c.s.m. groups. For
that reason, nothing posted there should be crossposted elsewhere in the
c.s.m. hierarchy.
