Safari won't open a QT movie

I managed to make an acceptable QT slideshow in iPhoto and uploaded it
(about 8 MB, extension .mov) to my Verizon web site. Also on the web
site is an old JPG photo. If I enter the URL in Safari for the photo,
Safari opens it in the browser window so I know the basic web site
address is correct. But if I enter the URL for the movie, I get an
error message that the requested URL was not found.

I also tried creating a link in Mail and right clicking to download.
It works for the photo but not the movie.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I should also have mentioned that Safari does open other QT movies
from other web sites.

Are there spaces in the file name?  Is the QuickTime movie in the same
folder as the JPG?  Have you verified that you can view other QuickTime
movies on Verizon's website?  Check with Verizon to make sure that they
allow .MOV file server from their servers; they may restrict it due to
bandwidth issues.

There are no spaces in the name and I am assuming the name is case
sensitive (that one caught me once in the past). The two files are in
the same folder. As for Verizon, I can check with them. Thanks.

I think I have resolved this issue. Verizon support wasn't too helpful
as they said they are only supposed to help with connectivity issues
and you are on your own as far as setting up your website. When I
asked how much space is available to me, they said 10 MB. So I think
that between this >8 MB movie and all the files that come along with
the web site I probably have exceeded the limit. This also explains
why, when I come back a while later after apparently uploading the
movie, it has disappeard from the web site.
