Q About Moving MP3 Files to Itunes

Hi. I received an MP3 file in E-mail that I want to add to my Itunes
music library.

Currently the file is in my Mail Downloads folder.  However, I want the
file to be relocated in my Itunes Music folder.

I tried Importing the file using the Import command but the music file
remained in the Mail Downloads folder.

There must be a simple way to change folders, but I can't seem to figure
it out.

Thanks in advance,

Mirsky

iTunes (by default) copies the file to the Library, it doesn't move it.
In iTunes, select the file in  your Library and choose File->Get Info.
On the Summary tab, there is a section labelled "Where" that gives you
the path to the copy in the Library. Assuming that you have the default
behavior of having iTunes keep the Library organized, you can delete
the original in your Mail Downloads folder.

Thanks for the help.  I realized that the problem was that I didn't have
the Preferences setting checked for "Copy files to Itunes Music folder
when adding to library."

Thanks again
