That will produce letterforms that look like the original handwritten
version of the US Constitution -- with ligatures and long "s"-shaped
"f"s -- as in "the purfuit of happineff", as Stan Freberg once said.
I need the full alphabet, upper and lower. Any suggestions? And, free
would be nice...

For starters take a look at Linotype Constitution at

which can be had for $26.

Many of the free fonts by Pia Frauss have a standard 's' in the usual
position and the 'long s' instead of another character (e.g. instead of
the # sign).
Be sure to check the alternative versions of some of her fonts as well
for this 'long s'.
