Jagged Edges During Playback

I'm using Titanium 7.0 to make DVDs on my MacBook (OS X 10.4.10).
Unfortunately, I seem to be getting jagged lines during playback.

I should mention that the original file does not have these problems
on playback.

I'm guessing it's an encoding problem.  I suppose it could be an
aspect ratio thing but VLC doesn't seem to have this problem with
store-bought DVDs and, as I mentioned, the original file looks fine
(and plays fine in VLC, DVD Player, etc).

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jason

Wow.  Slight over-reaction, don'cha think?  Your kids beat you or
something?  Dog piss in your Cheerios?  Wife doinking the mailman?

I don't get on the groups often but my GOD, some people take
themselves just a liiiiiitle bit too seriously...

My apologies to anyone inconvenienced by the cross-post if it was, in
fact, wrong.

Oh ho. A net loon for teasing. The "jagged edges" are possibly the scan
lines? Set it to "de-interlace," or like that.

What yu see looks normal to me. DVDs are compressed using lossy
cmpression and are, by computer standards, quite low resolution.
