Gimp stopped working. When I now try to start it, I get a dialogue box
coming up saying
Failed to start X11 - gimp.app requires Apple's X11
X11.app is where it should be, in Applications/Utilities and it starts
up fine manually. I've downloaded and installed the fix X11-2.1.4.pkg as
shown in the Gimp homepage for 10.5.2, but after a restart still no
luck.
Help?

Does GIMP work if you have already manually started X11?
Also, what version of GIMP are you running and how is that installed?

Upgraded to 2.4 which now seems to work. Thanks for the tip!

If Gimp is not at the top level in your Applications folder (for
example, if you put it into a Gimp folder inside Applications), some
things will not work. This may not be the source of your problem, but
it's worth keeping in mind.
