I copied a bunch of .ics files in my ipod's calendar file. I open my
iPod and see each calendar item.
Then I plug it into my iMac and sync all calendars.
Now my iPod only has one .ics (iSync-Work.ics) file that contains the
following:
BEGIN:VCALENDAR
VERSION:2.0
CALSCALE:GREGORIAN
PRODID:-//Apple Computer\, Inc//iSync 2.0//EN
X-WR-CALNAME:Work
X-WR-CALORDER:1
END:VCALENDAR
My iPod shows no calendar items, my iCal now shows no calendar items.
I have gone back to the Windows machine that I created them, and
copied them over again and got the same result.
What's happening? How do I fix it?

In iTunes have you checked iCal Syncing? I have done that before. You
need to add the calendars to iCal and then after you have iCal Syncing
setup/turned on, then I think it will work. It's not turned on by
default, other stuff is. I think that may be your sitch.

It is checked. If I don't have it checked, it doesn't delete all of
those iCal files on my iPod. When I check it and sync, those files
are replaced with what I showed.
