is Intellitype _only_ for MS keyboards?

I have a PC keyboard (by Unicomp) that has the usual Windows keys.
The 'Windows' keys were easy: just painted them red and treat them
as Cmd keys.  But there's a single 'Apps' key just to the left of
the right Ctrl key that right now seems to be a dead key on the Mac
OS X.4.11.  I was wondering whether IntelliType could remap this
into a useful key, or whether that utility only works on Microsoft
keyboards.  Any of you have experiences with this?  Thanks.

IntelliType is only for Microsoft keyboards, yeah.

OS X itself should have a keyboard assistant tool for remapping keys,
but i can't get it to work on my MacPro with both Tiger and leopard...

And yes, the MS Intellitype software is only for MS keyboards. - And if
you need a new, I can highly recommend the new MS Comfort curve
semi-ergonomic keyboard. Install the Intellitype software before
plugging in the keyboard, shut down and connect the Comfort curve, start
again and everyting is working out-of-the-box. Even the control keys
COM, ALT and CRTL are correctly placed on both sides. The navigation pad
and function keys at the top of the Comfort Curve are working. - I
haven't found out what all these extra keys are meant for yet, but some
of them are used while navigating on a website...:-)

Cheers, Erik Richard
