I have a version of Corel Painter 8 on my Mac? i was not using it for
a long time, but I need to work again with it..
On Coel site they show Corel Painter X, but no useful info on upgrades..
is there any upgrade from 8 to X ?

Yes. According to the "Upgrade Eligibility" list at corel.com, Painter 8
qualifies for an upgrade to X.

If it doesn't, go to corel.com, select Products> Illustration & Design>
Painting/Natural Media> Painter X
Once there, look at the left hand column. There is a flippy triangle
next to "Painter X." In the extended list, you'll find the link for
"Upgrade Eligibility"
