I fixed the worst of the bugs in MT-NewsWatcher 3.5.3b1, so here's a new
beta:

http://www.smfr.org/mtnw/download/MT-NewsWatcher_3.5.3b2.dmg

Secure SMTP works again, MT-NW does a better job of uudecoding multipart
articles with crud at the end of the messages, and some spurious error
messages are fixed.

Feedback welcome.

In a word, should someone, who just does text ng like this one,
and who has happily enough used 3.5.1 on Tiger and is intending
to stay on Tiger on a PPC for some time, upgrade? Are there any
downsides anyone knows please?

Yes.

It's exceedingly rare for me to do anything with binaries these days.
But there were some minor issues in 3.5.1, some corrected in 3.5.2, and
no doubt more corrected in these two beta releases.  So why *not*
upgrade, at least after it's out of beta?

So bottom line is this, you are on Tiger? You have upgraded to ?
and experienced no problems yourself? Is this so? If so, I will
follow you...

Fact is that MT 3.5.1 with minor irritations works fine. There is
the spell check correction glitches, these fixed?
