Font Color Change Crashes Entourage

I am running Entourage on a MB Pro 2.33 and Leopard. I have noticed a
considerable slowdown with Leopard on a couple of aps but especially
Entourage. I figure the patches and upgrades will eventually help but
the worst of it is that when attempting to change font color when
composing e-mail, Entourage immediately crashes. Is anyone else
experiencing this?

It appears that Leopard 10.5 and Entourage (any version) have a crash
when trying to use the color font.
I reinstalled the product, but that did not help.
The problem does not appear in Mactopia.
Apple indicated in one website that the problem is Microsoft's, and
not Apple.
Somehow I believe that Microsoft will not fix the problem for current
Entourage users. It appears a fix may appear in the upgraded version
2008 which is not out yet.

Easy solution: Stop sending horrid HTML emails to people. HTML email
sucks big time anyway, so you'll be doing the rest of us a favor as a
bonus.
