Deleting iTunes Podcasts, but not the listings

I have iTunes 7.1 (for my PC, actually) and have my settings where my
podcasts will automatically download the latest episode and keep only
the latest episodes.  However, when it deletes previous episodes, it
also deletes the listing from that channel.

What if I want to go back later and download an old episode again?  Is
there a way to just delete the file, and keep the listing in my
channel so I can go back later and re-download it?
Thanks in advance.

Go back and get it at the iTunes Store. Hopefully it will still be there.

No, not without unsubscribing and re-subscribing.
