burning data disks with iTunes 7.1.1?

Hi...

Tried to use iTunes 7.1.1 to burn a data disk for the first time since
the update using some Dynex blanks I got from my brother.  Went through
4 disks before I gave up.  iTunes seemed to burn fine but then went off
the rails finishing up at the end.

The disks say they're rated for 52x and I know my brother had no trouble
using them  with his thinkpad.  My ibook drive only goes up to 24x but I
didn't think that having better rated disks would be a problem.

Other people have trouble burning with the new iTunes or is it just the
disks?  I'll have to try with other disks when I get some.

Thanks
Mark

Try setting the burn speed to 24x instead of letting it select the speed
automatically. If that doesn't help, try manually setting the burn speed
to the slowest setting.
