iTunes column heading names

I import quite a few audiobooks into iTunes, and find it very irritating not
to have a column for *author*.  I have to use *composer* instead.  Is there
any way at all to change the names of the column options?  I cannot find such
a thing anywhere, and there is nothing even close in the View Options.  (I
can't use *Artist* because I already use that for the reader of the book.)
I have iTunes 7.1.1 running on an iMac G5 PPC with OS X 10.4.9.

An alternative for grouping by authors (with them named in the Composer
field) would be to use a smart playlist and set it to match the composer
name.

Well that's a thought Adrian.  I'll ponder on that, though I think it doesn't
quite fit what I want.  I was just a bit surprised that there seemed no way
to change the column headings.

In the old days you could sometime use a little utility called ResEdit
to edit such things ... whether there is an equivalent in OS X I've no
idea!

(Actually, the smart playlist idea is worth playing with ... it's a
powerful way of managing tracks.)

If the column names are localized you might be able to hack a plist file
by hand.

Adrian, A belated response, partly for the benefit of anyone else interested
in this:

There appear to be two equivalents to ResEdit for OS X.  ResKnife which is
freeware from:
<http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/29105>

and Resorcerer which is 256 USD (ouch!) from:
<http://www.mathemaesthetics.com/ResorcererInfo.html>
There is a free demo of Resorcerer, but for the small thing I want to do it
would not personally be worth my paying that much.

Not having used ResEdit, or either of the above, I obviously don't know how
they compare and if they would actually do what I want.  I will have to have
a further look when I have a bit of time over the weekend.

Thanks for the pointer.
