Sometimes I want to annotate or change the text of a received e-mail.
How do I make the text writable?

In Eudora, you click on the "pencil" icon in the upper left corner.
Other mail programs typically don't allow you to change received mail,
so I I don't know if you can in Apple's Mail.app.

One way to do it (in Mail.app):
- Select the mail
- Select Message->Redirect
- Make changes
- Select Save as Draft
- Close the message
- Drag the edited message from your Drafts folder to the original folder
- Delete the original mail if you wish
Note that the edited mail will retain the original Date Received time,
but its Date Sent time will be updated to the current time.
