I am on an iBook G4 OS 10.4.  I like downloading Emoticons aka smileys
from sites.  I recently viewed one in the Preview app and it meed it up
so that it now doesn't move.  How do I use Preview App without this
happening?  Thank  Beth

Personally, I have a very low opinion of Preview to begin with; it keeps
hijacking files I want to open in something else. I'd advise using
something else.

Any graphics program you have handy.  I use Graphic Converter for
general purposes and to cut my fotos down to a reasonable size for
e-mailing.  It's cheap and you can do a lot with it. Easier to use than
iPhoto, too.

All I have is Preview and iPhoto.  I was looking primarily for my
emoticons.

my condolences 8-)  Maybe someone uses Preview enough to answer your
original question, then.
