Hi,

Is there an OS X utility out there that can
determine if a DVD is in PAL or NTSC format?

Thanks,

Steve

Especially to a thicko like me. I admit I've only spent five minutes
looking - but where exactly is this vital information displayed?

Cheers,

Ol.

Click "Get Disc Info" (Cmd-I) in DVD Player's "File" menu.  The "Info"
window should appear.  Click the ""Info" button at the top of the
window.  "Video Format" will show "NTSC" or "PAL".

Many thanks for that. Curiously, it doesn't always work on this machine;
most of the time the option is greyed-out. Strange the ways of
technolololology.

Cheers,

Ol.
