It always crashes when it tries to load the page. Why does this happen?

No answer for you, but I can confirm your observation.

So can I.  I reported the bug to Apple.  BTW, the site opens just fine
with Camino.

But I can't... Here it's running fine with Safari 1.3.2 under OS X 10.3.9.

Everything is also fine in WaMCom X 1.3.1, Opera 9.0.2 (latest build)
and iCab 3.0.3.

cheers, Erik Richard

And here also.  I don't know if this is it, but the w3c validator
reports:

"The Unicode Byte-Order Mark (BOM) in UTF-8 encoded files is known to
cause problems for some text editors and older browsers. You may want to
consider avoiding its use until it is better supported."

and

An "id" is a unique identifier. Each time this attribute is used in a
document it must have a different value. If you are using this attribute
as a hook for style sheets it may be more appropriate to use classes
(which group elements) than id (which are used to identify exactly one
element).

I don't know if either of these errors is the cause.

It doesn't crash here, but I've got JavaScript turned off.

Even turning off Java and Javascript here, it crashes--always after
loading 9 of 20 items.

Ah, I'm still on Panther, which means Safari 1.3.2 (v312.6).

The crash seems to involve the font size. The page will load without
crashing if you change the browser window's font size before accessing
the page. Load some other web page, hit command--, then load
www.tsa.gov.

OmniWeb 5.5, which uses a later version of WebKit than Safari does,
seems to load the page without crashing, so Apple may have already
fixed the bug.

It crashed on me at 7 of 14 items.

Didn't try turning off JavaScript.

It works in OmniWeb, probably because the part that crashes isn't
capable of running.

I switched to Firefox because Safari crashed too much. Same price, better
surfing.
