I want to make a DVD with just audio and static pic on the background
so I can play on TV (I have seen this on commericial DVDs that
sometimes have as an extra audio with pic as the background image)

I have Toast Titanium (and G4 running OSX).

Can anyone point me in the direction of a website that explains how to
do this (if it is possible), or tell me how to do it.

cheers

DVD Studio Pro is useful for serious DVD authoring. I've never used
iDVD, although its little icon has been sitting in my Dock since I first
powered up the Mac Pro, so I guess I should look into it. What you want
to do is very simple, I'm sure iDVD will do it. But you need an
authoring program; Toast has some rudimentary authoring tools, but you
can't really manipulate them that way, AFIK.

Perhaps I'm not understanding the question, but here is how I did what
*think* you're asking about. Start up Toast Titanium.  Choose Help >
Toast Titanium Help. Search on "Music DVD". Behold. m.
