Okay okay before you jump on me this is a registered version of Halo
and yes I have the cd, why does this stupid game ask me to put the cd
in everytime I play? That is so annoying, the pc version is slightly
better and doesnt do this but it's nice to play a game and not have to
reboot into stupid Windows, so is there some way to do with this
needless request, since I notice it never actually accesses the cd once
it checks to make sure it's there!
Thanks.

If it is like some games, all it wants is to see that the disk is
mounted under the right name. I made a disk image from the CD, making
sure to have it mount with the same name as the CD, and this satisfied
the app.
I suppose one could make an empty drive image with the same name, but I
never tried.

It asks you to make sure you have the CD and are not using a stolen
copy. Blame all the software pirates who want software but don't want to
pay for it.

The thing is like another poster responded there is probably a way to
get around this "check" I mean c'mon that is what pirating/cracking is
all about, so Im sure the pirated copy DOESNT ask for the cd. It's
like this stupid company is punishing me for buying their game. How
stupid is this? They should of spent more time worrying about getting
some of the glitches out of the port and supporting wide screen
monitors then annoying their customers with pointless tasks.
how messed up is it that a Bungie game is a PORT on the MAC by another
company when they were once Macintosh diehards?
