My favorite browser is OmniWeb. I use the demo version but I would like
to register it and make it my default browser. I don't own a credit
card so I can't register online. It doesn't seem that it's possible to
pay OmniWeb by any means but through means of a credit card. If I could
I would send them a money order, cash or certified check but it doesn't
seem possible. Can anybody help me out here? TIA

Go buy it at a retail Apple Store.

I am in Vancouver, Canada and there isn't an Apple Store here yet.

My local mac-dealer here in Stockholm, Sweden order whatever I want to
have (so far) and I pay him cash for it. Last time I bought a Parallels
license key and I suggest you do the same. After you have bought the
Parallels key and installed it and all your OS'es you go for the OW key
;-) Just kidding, but remember to provide your name and mail address so
OW get registered to you.
I am also found of Omnis browser. I bought a key for version 4. Good
luck!

Have you considered contacting the company which makes Omniweb?
What makes you think newsgroup folks could answer that
better than them?

In my experience the people at Omni Group are very friendly and
responsive. Since they're the only ones who could possibly give a
definitive answer to your question, why not ask them instead of us?

You could also use a debit card, as this is processed like a credit
card. Your bank probably offers one. Alternatively, you could go to a
local mall that offers Visa gift cards and buy one in an appropriate
denomination for cash, then use that. Or the next time you're down in
Seattle, stop at one of the Apple stores down here and buy it.

These sound like good ideas. I'll give them a try. Thanks.

Thanks Jerry, I didn't know that Visa gift cards existed. Here's one big
advantage over using a traditional credit card:

All Visa cards seem to have that now, not just the gift cards. If the
other credit cards don't yet have it, I bet they will soon.
