Saving E-mail onto backup disk

How do I find and save my email poatings to another disk?

Frances, I take it you mean email generated by a Microsoft proggie,
like Entourage and Outlook.

In Mac OS X this is saved in a folder or folders in Documents. Look
under users/'your account"/Documents/Microsoft User Data.

I forget where OS 9 saves it, but look for the M.U.D. folder, an apt
abbreviation when one considers it ;-)

The Microsoft User Data folder is also stored in the Documents folder in OS
9.x.x. Just copy the Microsoft User Data (MUD) folder onto any backup disc,
the way you would copy any other folder.
