About a month or so ago, I installed IE 5.2.3 on my G5 - this installation
broke many features I had come to rely on, so I removed the program and
reinstalled IE 5.1. However, even though IE 5.2.3 has been completely
removed, I find that my scrollbar behaves the same way as it did with 5.2.3
(which it did not do prior to installation). This behaviour entails the
scrollbar not showing up on a page save for a small white square at the
bottom of the area in which the scrollbar normally would appear. At first,
I thought this was the scrollbar, albeit heavily compressed, but clicking in
the white area acts as if I clicked in the page, so I'm thinking it's just
an artefact of some kind. Sometimes, after clicking a link in the page, the
scroll bar will show up, but using the elevator or the arrow buttons to
scroll still creates artefacts (scroll bars on top of scroll bars, elevator
that jumps around, etc.) that cause scrolling to be a real pain. Is there
any way I can fix this?

Does no one know what can be done to fix this problem?

Sweet, it's always great when programs are left riddled with bugs... =(
