Download Manager Window Blank

Using IE 5.2.3 on OS X v10.2.8 for quite a while with no
problems.  Recently, when I try to open the Download
Manager window it appears as a blank white box on the
upper left side corner of my screen (on top of the main IE
window). It does not look like the Download Mgr window I
have seen before.

Any idea how to correct this problem?  Thanks!
